IISER IAT 2024: Counselling
After announcing the results, applicants who qualify in the IISER IAT 2024 entrance exam will proceed to participate in the counselling process. This cycle will commence on June 25, 2024. The purpose of IISER IAT counselling is to allocate seats at various IISER institutions to candidates listed in the merit list.
From July 2 to July 5, 2024, document verification for the counselling process will occur. Candidates need to complete their registrations by uploading their updated Class 12 marksheet and caste certificate by July 1, 2024.
The first round of admission offers will be published on July 7, 2024. This marks the beginning of the allocation of seats to successful candidates based on their merit and counselling process participation.

IISER IAT 2024: Exam pattern
On June 9, 2024, the IISER IAT (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test) was conducted as a computer-based exam at various centers across the country. The total duration of the exam was 180 minutes (3 hours).
The question paper consisted of a total of 60 questions. These questions were divided among four subject branches: Science, Mathematics, Physical Science, and Life Science. Each branch had 15 questions.
Candidates had to manage their time effectively to answer all the questions within the given timeframe during the exam.

Candidates who wish to pursue the five-year BS-MS dual degree program at the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) must first pass an entrance exam known as the IISER aptitude test.
